Two award plaques from the personal collection of Apollo 14 moonwalker Edgar Mitchell—a 6.75 x 9 plaque with an engraved plate depicting the Saturn V launch vehicle, "Presented to Captain Edgar D. Mitchell, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo 14, for outstanding contributions to the space program which will serve to the betterment of all mankind here on Earth, today—and—tomorrow. Space Boosters of Pittsburgh, May 17, 1971"; and a 7.5 x 10 plaque with an engraved plate, "To Astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell, Most Outstanding Citizen of Artesia N.M., March 15, 1971." In overall fine condition.
Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Karlyn Mitchell, the daughter of Edgar Mitchell.
