Two items: a TLS as president, signed “D. E.,” one page, 6.75 x 9, White House letterhead, September 28, 1960, sent to his brother Edgar Eisenhower, in full: “I’ll read the pamphlet by Mr. Briggs as soon as I can; meanwhile, my thanks for sending it to me. We were delighted to see Janis and Bill and the children, although our time with them was much too short”; and a vintage glossy 6.75 x 4.75 photo of General Eisenhower saluting next to several other officers during a ceremony, signed below in fountain pen. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a copy of Edgar’s letter to his brother, writing that he's forwarding the pamphlet ‘A Return to Candor in Politics,” and a full letter of authenticity from JSA for the photograph.
