Original vintage glossy 7.75 x 9 half-length wire photo of Chicago Outfit crime boss Al Capone seated in the Chicago Detective bureau following his arrest on vagrancy charges. The reverse bears several stamps dated to 1931, two affixed newspaper captions, and numerous editorial notations. In very good condition, with overall crazing to the emulsion, and loss to the lower left side. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type I' photograph.
