Three typed letters signed by either Harry S. Truman or his wife, Bess Truman, which include: two TLSs from Harry Truman, both one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, June 4, 1965, and December 2, 1970, sending thanks for kind words and following up on an autograph request; the Bess TLS, one page, 6 x 8, personal letterhead, June 22, 1978, reads, in part: “Thank you very much for thinking of me during my recent stay in the hospital.” In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the Bess letter, which bears her preprinted franking signature.
