The text reads: “Games of the XXIVTH Olympiad, September 17 - October 2, 1988, Seoul, Korea, Gouszeva, Elina URS, For Excellence in Sport, Handball, Women, 3rd Place. The lower portion bears printed signatures of the presidents of the International Olympic Committee and the Seoul Olympic Organizing Committee. Housed in its attractive original folder. In fine condition, with some slight wear to the folder. Guseva won a second bronze medal in handball while competing with the Unified Team at the Barcelona 1992 Summer Olympics.
