Sherrill, member of the C.I.O. for the United States.” Signed below in ink by the Swiss Organizing Committee president and by International Olympic Committee President Henri de Baillet-Latour.” In fine condition, with slight creases to edges, and a chip to the lower left corner. Charles Hitchcock Sherrill was an American politician, diplomat, and sports officer (1867–1936) who was an important member of the IOC and served as a U.S. ambassador to Argentina and Turkey.
