Scarce grouping of seven issues of ‘Les Jeux Olympiques’ [The Olympic Games], a supplement published in the French newspaper Messager d'Athenes, which was published between February 8th and April 18, 1896, and contained many references to the preparations for and the events of the first modern Olympic Games. Issues include: March 23rd (No. 9), March 27th (No. 10), March 28th (No. 11), March 29th (No. 12), March 30th (No. 13), April 2nd (No. 14), and April 6th (No. 15). In overall very good condition, with tears to the edges, and along the partially separated intersecting folds.
