Fantastic pair of bookends fashioned from wood removed from the hull of the USS Constitution during the frigate's historic 1927 restoration, each measuring approximately 6.75˝ x 7.25˝ x 3.75˝, with one bearing the original bronze plate on the base, reading: "This material was taken from the original hull of the U.S. Frigate Constitution, Keel laid 1794, Rebuilding 1927." In fine condition.
