In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from musician, entrepreneur, and club owner Mickey Deans, in full: "My name is Mickey Deans. For many years I have worked as a Nightclub Manager & Promoter. I am best known for being the last husband of Legend Judy Garland. My whole life I have worked in nightclubs managing & promoting. In the late sixties and early seventies I managed a club in London. Singer Janis Joplin was amazed by all the Rock N Roll memorabilia I had on display in my club and wanted to donate some items for display. This short sleeve multi-color tiel, red, yellow and brown trimmed woven mexican hippie style blouse was one of the items given to me by Janis Joplin herself."

Her eclectic style featured vibrant colors, flowing fabrics, and an abundance of accessories, reflecting the bohemian aesthetic of the era. Through her distinctive style, Joplin became an icon of rebellion and individuality.
