Description

Police-style blue dome strobe light given by Elvis Presley to his personal physician, Dr. George C. Nichopoulos (known as 'Dr. Nick'), so that he could get to Graceland in a hurry. The security light, a Smith & Wesson "Model L-11 Halogen Volunteer," measures approximately 7˝ in diameter and 4˝ tall, and features a magnetic base and 12-volt cigarette lighter power cord. In fine condition.

Provenance: From the Collection of Dr. Nick (George Nichopoulos), personal physician to Elvis Presley, Julien's Auctions, May 2022. Dr. Nick reportedly used the light only once, on August 16, 1977—the day that Elvis Presley died.
