A Notice of Application to the Master in Chambers of the King's Bench Division, regarding a case between plaintiff “Antonine Marie Mallet (widow)” and defendant “The Oceanic Steam Navigation Co., Ltd.,” which reads: “Take notice that the above-named Plaintiff intends to apply…for an order that the plaintiff be at liberty to deliver to the Defendants Interrogatories in writing a copy whereof is delivered herewith, And that the Defendants do within ten days by their Secretary or order proper Officer, answer the said Interrogatories in writing by Affidavit.” Issued by the plaintiff’s solicitors to the agents of the defendants, Rawle, Johnstone & Co. In very good condition, with overall creasing, staining, and small areas of paper loss.
