Space Shuttle Crew Remote Communication Kit, consisting of two communications modules and one audio interface unit; the electronics have been removed from the devices, but the switches and housings remain intact, making these ideal for display. This type of kit had an encryption feature so that communication among Shuttle astronauts would remain private, in addition to different frequency knobs. The audio interface unit is labeled as "P/N 02-1388300…Contract No. NAS 9-1710," while the communications modules have had their labels removed. The remote units feature headset jacks, transmit and intercom buttons, volume knobs, and channel selectors.
