Appealing bronze medal issued by the Aero Club de France for their 1905 Concours d'Aviation, awarded to "Mouren" for "Appareils Non Montes." Bronze, 54 mm, 74 gm. The front, inscribed, “Aero Club de France,” features allegorical figures with a dirigible in the background; the reverse portrays an angel and is inscribed, "1er Concours d'Aviation - 1905, Appareils non Montés, Mouren." Stamped "Bronze" on the edge. In fine condition.
