Edgar Hoover,” one page, 8 x 10.5, personal FBI letterhead, May 18, 1936, addressed to Eddie Orio, in part: “In response to the request in your postal card bearing the postmark, May 12, 1936, I am pleased to forward herewith my autographed photograph”; and the referenced photograph: a vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Eddie Orio, Sincerely, J. Edgar Hoover, 5/20/36.” In overall fine condition.
