The handwritten letter, in part: “Nell gave a family dinner the night we sailed. Clams ravioli (delicious) elaborate French desserts et al. It had no bad effect but Ellen was not up to normal Sunday all are well now. All the little elevator boys & boots made the choir at dinner service.
