Nicely detailed vintage Soviet-made metal model of the Vostok 1 launch vehicle, which carried cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin into space in the historic first-ever manned spaceflight on April 12, 1961. The model measures an overall 17.75″ tall, set upon its aluminum base. The body of the rocket is lettered in red, "Boctok" and "Vostok," and the upper stage is removable. In fine condition.
