Scarce official winner's diploma from the Cortina 1956 Winter Olympics, 14.75 x 18.75, awarded to Soviet speed skater Yury Mikhaylov for his first-place tie in the men's 1500-meter event, signed below in ink by Organizing Committee President Paolo Thaon di Revel and International Olympic Committee President Avery Brundage. Framed to an overall size of 17.25 x 21.25. In very good to fine condition, with some light creasing, and several light bends.
