Fantastic pairing of two early Mickey Mouse titles:
First edition book: Mickey Mouse Story Book by Walt Disney. Philadelphia: David McKay Company, 1931. Hardcover bound in scarce green cloth with full-color pictorial paste-on, 6 x 8.75, 62 pages. This marked the first book appearance of Pluto. Book condition: VG/None, with sunning to spine, small edge tear to first page, bumped corners, weak rear hinge, and a gift inscription to first free end page.
First edition book: The Pop-Up Mickey Mouse. New York: Blue Ribbon Books, 1933. Hardcover bound in pictorial boards, 6.75 x 8.75, with all three pop-up scenes intact: Mickey and Minnie at the circus, Mickey with Pluto and his dog house, and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to a steamship. Book condition: VG-/None, with rubbing to boards, some staining to title page, and a gift inscription to title page.
