Impressive collection of 62 Olympics-related neckties from the personal collection of longtime IOC member James Worrall. The ties were all produced exclusively for various Olympic Summer and Winter Games, committees, or special conferences, such as: Montreal 1976 (9), Innsbruck 1976, Lake Placid 1980, Sarajevo 1984, Calgary 1988, Barcelona 1992, Lillehammer 1994, Atlanta 1996, Torino 2006, the Australian Olympic Committee, the National Olympic Committee of the GDR, the Monaco Olympic Committee, the Russian Olympic Committee, and the 1994 Paris Olympic Congress. The collection also includes ties for bid cities like Nagoya 1988, Sofia 1994, and Toronto 1996. Twenty-one of the ties are sealed in their original packaging. In overall fine condition.
