Group of five press badges issued for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games. Bronze, 40 mm x 40 mm, 13 gm, manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark. The badges feature the Olympics rings over a shield and laurel branch, with “Xth Olympiad Los Angeles” above, and engraved tablet below, “Press.” Suspended below the are small yellow and red ribbons, all with "Not Good for Admittance" labels to reverse. All retain their original Whitehead & Hoag cardboard backers, and are housed in their original paper envelopes. Badges with bronze medallions were issued to team managers, athletes and attendants, and to the press.
