Three items: an invitation to "A Private Audience with Prince: The Concert," presented by VH1 and Paragon Cable at the Apollo Theatre in New York on March 27, 1993; the pre-concert party laminate featuring an iconic image of Prince with his microphone gun; and a black long-sleeved t-shirt given away at the party, size large, with the VH1 logo embroidered on the breast pocket. In overall very good to fine condition, with a small corner crease to the invitation, and some wear and fraying to the shirt.
Prince's former co-manager Jill Willis recalls: "A fun night! Seeing Prince at the Apollo is a great memory and this was a fun event. As one can imagine, there was often a bit of stress involved in many of these professional moments but I don't recall any from this night. Although he could go through different phases, during my time as one of his co-managers, he was very willing to engage in a dynamic manner with entities like MTV, VH1 and various radio programming conventions in order to keep them interested in promoting his albums and tours."
