Fascinating original program prototype for Prince & the New Power Generation's 1993 Act I Tour, 9 x 11, featuring all pages printed on single-sided sheets, with post-it notes throughout to indicate various changes and amendments. Includes a final version of the program as printed for the tour, incorporating these changes throughout. Among these notes are: "The logo and type will be embossed in gold" on the front cover; a correction for a incorrect blue-toned group image; changing white symbols to a black gloss varnish; and changing portraits from gold-tone to black-and-white. In fine condition. A unique work-in-progress piece, plus the final version as published for Prince's 1993 Act I Tour.
Prince's former co-manager Jill Willis recalls: "All the notes are a combination of those written after the prototype was first proofed by me in order to share details of the corrections I thought the program needed as well as those that were added after meeting with Prince to go over the book and add his changes."
