Pure silver participation medal issued by the Greek Organizing Committee in 1906

Rare participation medal issued by the Greek Organizing Committee at the Athens 1906 Unofficial Olympics. Silver, 14 gm, 25 mm x 38 mm, with the front depicting an ancient Greek coin of Kos from circa 460 BC with a nude discus thrower, and the reverse featuring a four-line Greek legend. Medal features a loop and ring to the top.
