Magnificent limousine flag of the Vice President of the United States made by Alphasoft, presumed to date to the Biden or Pence era, measuring 19″ x 15″ with fringe, beautifully embroidered on both sides with the vice presidential coat of arms on a white background, with four dark blue stars in the corners. Two leather mounting straps are sewn inside the hoist sleeve, as is the maker's tag in the top left. In fine condition. The consignor notes that this was acquired from a White House employee.
This version of the vice presidential flag was standardized during the presidency of Gerald R. Ford, and remains in use to this day: a version of the flag is kept in the vice president's office, is sometimes displayed by the vice president in official photos, and is flown on the vice president's motorcade.
