Uncommon color satin-finish 8 x 6 photo of a collage depicting a man standing at a urinal and the lower portion of a woman’s face, with Lennon’s printed signature in the corner, and signed on the reverse by Lennon in black ballpoint, “‘Just Pissing About’ J. L.” Archivally double-matted and framed to an overall size of 16 x 14, with a window on the reverse for viewing the signature. In fine condition, with light soiling. Accompanied by certificates of authenticity from REAL and Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, noting that the image was featured in the June 1975 issue of Crawdaddy magazine. An original issue of the magazine is included, in which the collage was featured as part of a collection of poems, essays, and images contributed by various celebrities on the topic of growing up. Other contributors to the series included Muhammad Ali, Rodney Dangerfield, Chris Hillman, and Patti Smith. An unusual signed example from the eccentric Beatles frontman.
