Collection of three Prince concert tour books. The first one is for the 1984-85 “Purple Rain” World Tour of Prince and the Revolution. It is 28 pages, measures approximately 13” x 12”, and includes images of Prince and his band, stills from the film, and art used with the “Purple Rain” album with backgrounds of lace and paisley. Several pages include pre-printed handwritten messages from Prince and his band, and photos of his dove, Divinity.
The second one is a tour book for Prince’s 1986 “Parade” tour. It is 20 pages, measures approximately 12” x 12”, and includes beautiful photographs by noted Prince photographer Jeff Katz. The program was printed in England and includes an album discography and stills from the music video for the song “Mountains.”
The third one is a tour book for Prince’s 1988 “Lovesexy” tour. It is 24 pages, measures approximately 11” x 12”, and includes a transparent sticker on the cover that reads “Prince Lovesexy ’88.” The program includes many beautiful photographs by noted Prince photographer Jeff Katz, including some taken outside his Paisley Park Studios. The program includes a narrative story about Prince’s alter-ego Camille and makes reference to the notorious “The Black Album.” All are in fine condition.
