Apollo Command Module (Block II) Digital Ranging Generator, measuring 4″ x 8.5″ x 6″, manufactured by RCA, with label reading: "Digital Ranging Generator, NAA S&ID PN ME478-0082-0003, Contract No. NAS 9-150, Date of Mfr: 6 3 69, Collins Radio Co. PN 514-2191-011, Mfd. by RCA for the Apollo Spacecraft, Serial No. 071368450017." The unit was designed to generate a radio frequency signal that allowed the LM to measure distance from the CM.
