Rare Apollo 17 ‘RE' crew patch, 4.5″ in diameter, fully embroidered with a merrowed border and 'tail.’ Reverse bears the original AB Emblem label. Sealed and in fine condition. Produced by AB Emblem, these uncommon initial crew patches were never officially released to the public and are easily identified by their larger size, the presence of an extra star above Apollo's shoulder, and crew initials hidden in the dark lower right background, with this particular patch honoring CMP Ron Evans.
