Very rare Apollo 17 ‘White Eagle’ crew patch, 4″ in diameter, fully embroidered with a merrowed border and 'tail.’ Reverse bears its original AB Emblem label. Sealed and in fine condition. The apparent scarcity of this patch infers that this version was produced for NASA directly and was never released to the general public. The ‘White Eagle’ patch is distinguished by the white thread used on the outline of the eagle, the pale blue thread in the border, and the white thread on the planet Saturn.
