(Walt Disney Studios, 1986) Very appealing original production cels and line test background from The Great Mouse Detective, showing Basil, the ingenious mouth sleuth, carefully lighting a piece of paper with a Bunsen burner. The cels, the uppermost of which is signed in black felt tip by animator Andreas Deja, are placed on a line test background of the interior of Basil's residence and work table. Total image (Basil with flame) measures 8 x 8.25, with overall dimensions of 16 x 12.5. The top cel bears a Walt Disney Company seal and a 1986 copyright stamp. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Disneyana.
