(Walt Disney Studios, 1938) Original production drawing from Ferdinand the Bull, depicting the title bovine in a pleasant and admiring half-length pose. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on slightly trimmed 12 x 9.75 animation paper marked "2" in the lower right corner. Image measures 7.5 x 6.5. In fine condition, with slight wear to the bottom edge. A desirable piece that represents the first production drawing that we've offered from this classic early Disney cartoon, which won the 1938 Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoons).
