(Walt Disney Studios, 1999-2000) Very rare limited edition hand-painted cel of Princess Mulan that was sold only in 1999 in the Walt Disney World-MGM Studios theme park in Florida. This gorgeous cel was painted for the ‘Magic of Disney Animation’ series and is placed on a printed color background that also shows Mushu the Chinese dragon. The Mulan image measures 2.5 x 6, with overall dimensions of 13 x 10.5. The lower left of the cel bears a special Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida seal, affirming Mulan as “Florida’s First Animated Feature.” In very fine condition. Accompanied by its original display mat and its Animation Gallery cardboard box with Mickey Mouse ears carrying handle, which is numbered: “AB1010022DF.” This Mulan special edition cel is unequivocally the rarest Florida cel ever made.
