Vintage circa 1970s battery-operated blue plastic "Excavator" toy robot, made in Japan by Horikawa, standing at 9.5″ tall. The walking robot features spinning drill bit arms and colorful gears within its chest, housed behind a clear plastic window. One of its silver antennae is missing. The Horikawa Excavator was portrayed by another famous artist—Andy Warhol—as part of his 1983 'Toy Paintings' series.
