From the collection of longtime IOC member James Worrall—a rare solid gold commemorative medallion issued for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics, made of 900 fine gold, 13 mm, with the front featuring the Olympic rings over German text, “Olympische Spiele Munchen 1972,” and the reverse featuring an ancient archer in profile holding a bow. The medallion is presented within an acrylic holder, 4.5 x 4.75, and is accompanied by its original light blue case.
