From the collection of longtime IOC member James Worrall—a limited edition miniature replica of the relay torch from the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics made by Birks, composed of brushed aluminum, measuring 12.25″ long, with a small metal base engraved on the front “Town of Orangeville, December 28, 2009.” Includes its attractive Canadian alder wood presentation box with slipcase and its certificate of authenticity, which is numbered “01611” of 50,000 issued pieces. In fine condition. The slipcase features a small gouge, as well as light scattered wear. Accompanied by a letter of transmittal from Rob Adams, the mayor of Orangeville, Ontario, presenting Worrall with the torch replica.
