Whitney Houston's dazzling personally-owned black-and-silver beaded floor-length evening gown, featuring a sheer dark gray chiffon body over a silvery base, intricately beaded wide-petaled flower designs in navy blue and silver all over, and delicate floral beadwork borders on the top and bottom. In very good to fine condition, with evidence of wear and use, including some staining to the lining, and fraying and bead loss to one of the thin shoulder straps. An ornate and impressive piece of Houston's personal wardrobe.

Nippy, Inc. was Whitney Houston's New Jersey-based management company once run by her father, John Houston. Accompanied by the original lot tag, a copy of the receipt for the $100 entrance fee for the auction filled out by the original purchaser, a copy of the auction terms and itemized lot list, photo collage and a photo of the newspaper advertisement for the auction.
