Two original souvenir items from the Beatles’ historic three-day concert series at the Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on June 30th and July 1 and 2, 1966—an original dual-sided color poster, 10 x 14, featuring English and Japanese text, with the front featuring an image of the Beatles waving as they descend the stairs of their airplane, with upper text, “Welcome the Beatles,” and the reverse showing images of each band member to the corners, “Beatles in Tokyo” to center, and concert information in Japanese; and the original oversized program for the three-day Beatles showcase in Tokyo, 30 pages, 10.25 x 14.25, containing a wealth of Beatles imagery, quotes, lyrics, and tour information; the third page bears facsimile signatures. In overall fine condition, with light handling wear to the program, including a small tear to top edge of front cover and the centerfold detached but present.
