Interesting original softcover 1965 NASA telephone directory from the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center at Huntsville, Alabama, 8.5 x 10.75, 94 pages, listing hundreds of phone numbers for NASA personnel, departments, and in-house contractors. Among some of the notable names listed are rocket pioneers Wernher von Braun, Eberhard Rees, Konrad Dannenberg, Arthur Rudolph, and Walter Haeussermann. On the reverse is an interesting sign of the times, amidst the Cold War's 'space race' between the United States and Soviet Union—a map showing the locations and capacities of fallout shelters on the MSFC property. In fine condition, with a neatly penned ownership notation on the front cover.
