Attractive pair of two original vintage color glossy 5 x 7 photos: one featuring astronaut John Glenn in his silver Project Mercury space suit, and the other showing the launch of his Mercury-Atlas 6 mission, during which he made the first crewed American orbital spaceflight aboard the Friendship 7 spacecraft. Both have circular "EKC" watermarks on the reverse, which was in use by Kodak from 1958 to 1961 (pre-dating the "A Kodak Paper" watermarks). In fine condition.
