British statesman (1852-1928) who served as prime minister from 1908 to 1916. ALS signed “H. H. Asquith,” one page, 4.75 x 3, 20 Cavendish Square letterhead, November 7, 1902. Handwritten letter to "Fraulein Heinsins," referring to his daughter Violet. In part: "I enclose cheque for £5. Thank you for your letter. We are very glad to have such good accounts of Violet & I hope to see her on Monday. Mrs. Asquith has had a tad cold, but she is much better." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Asquith's hand. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
