Original complete issue of the New York Herald Tribune from Saturday, November, 23, 1963, the day after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza. The newspaper, 28 pages, measuring 15 x 22.75 unfolded, features the banner headline, “Kennedy Assassinated, Johnson Sworn As President,” above images of JFK waving from the presidential limousine and Lyndon B. Johnson, standing next to Jacqueline Kennedy, being sworn in as President aboard Air Force One.
