Heartbreaking original glossy 9 x 7 United Press International wire photo of Jacqueline Kennedy being consoled by Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson shortly after her husband, President John F. Kennedy, was shot by a sniper in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. The upper caption states that the photo was taken by “Capt. Cecil Stoughton Official White House Photographer from UPI Telephoto.” Reverse bears a United Press International Photo credit stamp. In fine condition. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type III' photograph.
