English aviatrix (1903-1941) who became the first female pilot to fly alone from Britain to Australia. Uncommon glossy 3.5 x 5.5 Beagles postcard photo of Johnson in her aviator uniform, nicely signed in black ink. Affixed to a same-size sheet. In very good to fine condition, with light wrinkling from mounting, and light brushes of old adhesive at edges, visible only at an angle. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
