(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Terrific original gag drawing featuring numerous iconic Disney characters by Frank Follmer, centering around a boxing match between Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, with the bout’s various spectators—Minnie Mouse, Pinocchio, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and six of Snow White’s dwarfs—engaged in drinking, smoking, and in varying degrees of solicitation. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 18 x 12 artist paper, which is signed in the lower right, "Frank Follmer.” In fine condition. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
