Description

Unusual oversized FDC from Walt Disney Productions promoting the forthcoming film Something Wicked This Way Comes, postmarked at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on May 21, 1981, the release date of space artist Robert McCall’s space achievement stamps, a block of eight that are affixed to the upper right. The Walt Disney Productions address label, with a great image of Mickey Mouse painting, is addressed to Peter Vincent Douglas, who served as the producer for the aforementioned movie. Mounted and framed to an overall size of 14.25 x 11.25. In very fine condition. Peter Douglas, the son of Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas, served as the producer for ​​Something Wicked This Way Comes, a dark fantasy film released in 1983. Produced by Walt Disney Productions, the screenplay was written by Ray Bradbury, who based the work on his 1962 novel of the same name.
