The tape is affixed to a color 11 x 8.5 certificate of commemoration presented by Boeing and the Space Flight Awareness Program, which states: "You are presented this memento celebrating the accomplishments of the STS-101 astronaut crew, who flew aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis May 19 through 29, 2000, in appreciation for your dedication to safe space flight, which made it possible?Attached to this certificate is a segment of 'Mach 25' tape used by the STS-101 crew during the completion of many of their tasks."
