Four checks signed by members of the so-called 'Bonanza Kings,' famed for their Comstock Lode silver mines, with two signed by John William Mackay and two signed by James Graham Fair. The Mackay checks, both signed "J. W. Mackay," are dated 1874 and 1877. The Fair checks, both signed "James G. Fair," are dated 1872 and 1878. In fine condition.
