Two full, unused tickets for the 1953 heavyweight championship bout between Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott at Chicago Stadium: one white ticket for a box seat on the fight's originally scheduled date of April 10, 1953, with a face value of $50; and one blue ticket for general admission for its rescheduled date of May 15, 1953, with a face value of $5. In overall fine to very fine condition. Marciano had defeated Walcott to take his first heavyweight title in 1952, and prepared to defend it in 1953; the fight had to be postponed a month due to injury. In the title fight on May 15th, Marciano dropped Walcott in the first round to retain his crown.
