(Walt Disney Studios, 1973) Original production cels of Prince John and Sir Hiss from Robin Hood, which are placed on a beautiful hand-painted production background from the same film: the set-up depicts the two villainous characters in large half-length poses against a backdrop of the open fairgrounds where the archery tournament is held. Lower border of background is marked in pencil: "0112, .006, Sc. 634 and 636, Mimi." Total character image measures 8.25 x 7.75, with a mat opening of 13.5 x 10.5. Matted to an overall size of 20 x 16. The piece has the silver Walt Disney Productions seal to lower right. In fine condition, with the lower right corner tip of background neatly clipped.
