Al Worden's personally-owned album containing 18 photos from his first flight on a Hawker Siddeley Harrier, 10.5 x 11.5, gilt-stamped on the cover: "Commemorating Lt. Col. Al Worden's first flight in a Hawker Siddeley Harrier with Chief Test Pilot Duncan Simpson at Dunsfold Aerodrome, Surrey, on 3rd May 1972." In very good to fine condition, with some soiling to covers and toning to inner pages. One of the first aircraft in the Harrier Jump Jet series, the jet was designed in the 1960s as the first operational ground attack and reconnaissance aircraft with vertical/short takeoff and landing.
